Indian Army – History

It is really important for any country to save the Public of their Country. For that they need soldiers.

They are the people who are always ready to protect you 24*7. Here today I am talking about those soldiers that protecting India 24*7 without any expectations. The Soldiers are divided into 3 parts – Army, Navy and Air Force.

In 3 different ways, they are protecting their country.

Army term is used for – Grounded Soldiers, Navy term is used for - Seas Soldiers and Air Force term is used for - Airspace

Here we will discuss on term “Army” for India. The Indian Military is the 2nd largest active military after China.

The Indian Armed Forces are the part of the military forces of the Republic of India.

These Armed Forces having 3 professional uniformed services: Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force.

Today we will discuss on 1st uniformed services of Indian Armed Force that is “Indian Army”.

Introduction to Indian Army:

It is the land-based branch and the largest component of the Indian Armed Forces.

The supreme commander of Indian Army is “President of India”. He / She are commanded by the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), who is a four-star general.

In Hindi “Indian Army” is known as “Bharatiya Sena”.

The Indian Army was originated from the armies of the East India Company.

In 1895, the Indian Army was founded. Almost 1,237,117 active personnel and 990,960 reserve personnel are the sizes of Indian Army.

Headquarter is in New Delhi, India.

The Indian Army is having 2 officers have been conferred with the rank of field marshal, a five-star rank.

The different Position is allocated at a different level. The Indian Citizen can be the part of Indian Army.

They can Apply for Indian Army Jobs and protect India.

15th January is the Anniversary of the “Indian Army”

To ensure national security and national unity, defending the nation from external aggression and internal threats, and maintaining peace and security within its borders.
